In honor of my upcoming work trip to Barcelona...

Nanoism-A Place for Twitter Fiction →
anymousse: Nanoism is a really cool site that lets you submit stories totalling 140 characters. If you win, they pay you a $1.50 and publish it on twitter. I realize a $1.50 isn’t much, but it’s a start for any writer at least. I submitted something to it today (second shot; my first attempt didn’t make it).

The Dilemma of the Prolific Writer →
oliveryeh: I’m not so sure this is a dilemma. Had I written this piece, I would change the title to, “Prolific Writers, Piss Off.”

Slush Pile Hell Submission
oliveryeh: slushpilehell: Not that I would compare myself to Hemingway, but if you read my novel, you’ll see that it’s as brilliantly simple as The Old Man and the Sea, as poetic as The Sun Also Rises, and as epic as For Whom the Bell Tolls. Well, at least you didn’t compare yourself to Hemingway. Who’s Hemingway? I LOLed.

Worst Analogies Ever Written
This was taken from fuckyeahhogwartsrpg (an awesome blog that mocks silly RPG stereotypes and bad RPers in general), but I couldn’t reblog since I’m an admin. :P  Hilarious though! Compliments of high school students nationwide, featured in the Washington Post: The little boat gently drifted across the pond exactly the way a bowling ball wouldn’t. McBride fell 12 stories,...

I'm on my way to MacWorld...
…and it’s been a busy few days.  If you’ve messaged me or sent me a message on the ivrit Tumblog, I received it (I believe :P).  I just haven’t had time to respond. Once I’m in Spain, I’m hoping I’ll have a more time for everything!  Until then…panic and stress!  Danger Will Robinson.  Stuff like that.

No, Seriously, I'm Not F#cking Around, You Really... →
oliveryeh: Take a few moments to ingest this funny rant in one bite. I think Chuck is being a hog and is quivery I might eat up some of that air he’s breathing. This amused me.  Guess what?  Everything in it’s true.  And I still want to be a writer.  Well, I already am, but a novel writer at some point.  We’ll see how that works out for me in the long run.
